Cookie Policy

Last updated January 2026

We use a small number of cookies, chosen for security and function rather than tracking.

Essential cookies

These keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, and remember security preferences such as two-factor status.

Preference cookies

These remember choices such as light or dark appearance.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party profiling on any page where account or video content appears.

Soft Launch measurement

While our limited Soft Launch is running, public pages set one first-party cookie (ee_vid) containing a random identifier, kept for up to 180 days. We use it only to estimate unique visitors and, if you later create an account, to measure that you arrived through the Soft Launch. We do not store your IP address, do not fingerprint your device and do not share this identifier with anyone. It is never set on signed-in or security pages, and it stops being used when the Soft Launch ends.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to your vault.
