Legacy Vault exists to protect the most personal recordings a person can make. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the strict limits we place on its use.

Information we collect

Account information such as your name, email address, phone number and billing details.

Recipient information you choose to provide, including names, relationships and contact details.

Video messages and any documentation submitted in connection with verification.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate your vault, manage your subscription, verify a passing, and release messages to the recipients you named.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your video messages for training, advertising or analytics.

Access controls

Videos are encrypted and are never publicly accessible. No employee can view a private video without documented authorization tied to an approved release or a lawful request.

Every administrative action taken on an account is recorded in a permanent audit log.

Retention and deletion

Your content is retained while your account remains active. You may delete individual videos or your entire account at any time.

Following a verified release, recipient access is granted for the period described in the Video Release Policy.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your account by contacting care@legacyvault.com.
