Recipient Policy

Last updated January 2026

This policy explains what it means to be named as a recipient and what recipients can and cannot do.

Being named

Recipients are chosen solely by the account holder and can be added, edited or removed at any time while the account is active.

Recipients are not notified that they have been named unless the account holder chooses to tell them.

Access after release

After an approved release, each recipient creates their own credentials and can view only the messages assigned to them.

Recipient accounts are limited to viewing. They cannot upload content, change assignments, or view account information.

Downloading and sharing

Where the account holder permitted downloads, recipients may save their own copies. Recipients are responsible for how they handle those copies.

Unreachable recipients

If a recipient cannot be reached, we will make reasonable additional attempts using the contact details on file before closing that portion of the release.
