Death Verification Policy
Last updated January 2026
No message is ever released without proof. This policy describes the documentation we require and how it is reviewed.
Required documentation
We require an official certified death certificate or equivalent legal documentation issued by the relevant authority.
We may also request identification from the person submitting the documentation and evidence of their relationship to the account holder.
Review process
Submissions are reviewed by trained verification staff. Documentation is checked for authenticity, and the identity of the account holder is confirmed against account records.
Where documentation is incomplete or inconsistent, we will request clarification before proceeding.
Approval and logging
A release is approved only after review is complete. The reviewer, the decision and the time of approval are permanently recorded in an audit log.
Fraudulent submissions
Submitting falsified documentation is a serious offence. We will refuse the release, suspend the associated accounts and may report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
